Cinemascope only accepts articles that have not been previously published elsewhere.
Authors retain their right to re-publish their article in paper form, citing the previous web publication in Cinemascope-Independent Film Journal.
Applicants interested to contribute to Cinemascope issues should send a brief proposal (max 300 word) together with a short biography. Proposals have to be sent to info@cinemascope.it, respecting the dead line reported in the Call for Papers. ARTICLES Articles selected by the Editorial Board (max 5000 words) have to be sent to info@cinemascope.it, respecting the dead line reported in the Call for Papers. Authors are required to follow some formatting guidelines:
FORMATTING GUIDELINES
Feel free to use any kind of quotation style;
1-Please use italic for film titles.
2-Please list films and works cited at the bottom of the article together with minimum 5 Tag keywords (Tags are very important in order to find the articles by browsing or searching)
PICTURES AND VIDEOS
- Is possible to submit pictures to link to the articles, eventually respecting these technical conditions:
- For HOMEPAGE’s Cover Image: PIXEL 1500 X 600 (or max) with a (max)resolution of 150 DPI (you could send also a frame taken from a DVD)
- For Articles: PIXEL 700(W) X 600(H) (or max) with a (max)resolution of 150 DPI (you could send also a frame taken from a DVD).
- It’s possible to send links at youtube, vimeo or other videos online players.
- To use in Biographical Box: Authors can enclose a personal photo (it will be published together with the short biography), For it we haven’t technical conditions.
